• The 29th Annual Battersea Pumpkin Festival is happening on October 14th, 2023. It is the weekend AFTER Thanksgiving this year.
• The event runs from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
• The Festival takes place at the Battersea Ball Field, 5167 Battersea Road.
• Admission is $5 per person or $20 for immediate family (cash only!). Kids ages 2 and under are free.

New this year! Milburn Creek Trail will be a perfect backdrop for a unique and enchanting outdoor display of local art. The Milburn Creek Trail is a beautiful section of land in Battersea that meanders through the woods along the side of Milburn Creek. The trail is 2.7 kms long and runs from the trailhead across from the Battersea Ball Park on Battersea Road to the United Church on Wellington Street. This takes about an hour to walk one way (there is a shortcut back via the road). The terrain ranges from easy to difficult.

There will be both a three-week exhibit and a one-day exhibit option. The three-week exhibit will run from October 1st – October 22nd throughout the entire trail. The one-day exhibit will be on display for the Pumpkin Festival on October 14th within the first 800 meters of the trailhead across from the Battersea Ball Park.

Do you have an idea for an art installation that would stand out along a forest trail? Be a part of Battersea Pumpkin Fest’s Wild Art Walk! From creative dabblers to experienced artists, all South Frontenac residents and Indigenous residents from across townships are invited to contribute.

If you live between Round Lake Road and Ramparts Road and along Wellington Street to Milburn Road and everything in between, then you have a special reason to decorate your house for the Pumpkin Festival season. Our hand-picked judges will be walking about during the festival making their selection. The prize will be awarded at 4:00 p.m. in front of the backstop at the Ball Field. 

There is no fee to enter, and all fall-themed decorations are welcome (harvest, scary, pumpkin, etc.).

For our very special 30th Annual Battersea Pumpkin Festival happening Saturday, October 5th, 2024, we’re bringing back the classic admission button! Guests will have a chance to have their artwork as the button image. Submission forms will be available at the Ball Field. The deadline for submissions is Halloween 2023.
